Travel Agent Product Features
The travel agent module is designed to meet the needs of novice travel agents who occasionally book tours in addition to expert tour specialists who need productivity tools designed to save time, optimize commissions and increase bookings.
Basic Search
The basic search function allows the agent to enter the destination, number of adults and date range and see instant prices and availability. The system is designed to generate a result set of available trips quickly in order to drive engagement and discuss trip options. From this page the agent and email trip brochures, view an itinerary map and click to see the trip details for additional information.
Advanced Search
The advanced search option allows the agent to search on specific operators, Trip I.D.’s, activities, destinations, duration, budget or travel style to exactly match the customer requirements.
Map View - Search Results
The map view is the default search result setting for the agent interface and is designed to give the agent a quick visual representation of each trip along with pricing and a short description. This allows any agent to be able to explain the trip options and differences with the customer, even if the agent is not an expert on the destination.
Commission & Service Fees
The commission adjustment tool allows the agent to modify the commission amount or add a service fee if required. The agent simply drags the ruler to the left or right to adjust the commission percentage and the dollar amount is automatically displayed.
Agent Profile Management
The agent profile system allows the affiliate partner to create travel agent profiles and allow customers to connect with specific agents that specialize in specific destinations and activities.
Agent profiles can be designated as a general agent or expert agents. Expert agents have the ability to become accredited for specific destinations and activities. This accreditation process is maintained directly by the affiliate partner.
